The men's Timberloop™ EK+ utility boot is specifically designed for circularity. This hiker has a unique sole construction where with the cut of one seam, the outsole can be taken off and each part ultimately put into its own unique recycling stream. To help close the "loop", this new construction method reduces the use of chemical-based cements. The removable sock bootie is also made using ReBOTL™ fabric, containing at least 50% recycled plastic diverted from landfills.

FEATURES

CERTIFIED TANNERY

One or more major components use at least 50% leather tanned in a facility rated Silver or higher by a third–party environmental audit. The Leather Working Group judges and classifies tanneries based on energy use, waste production and water treatment.

ORTHOLITE INSOLES

Ortholite® comfort foam insoles provide moisture transport, antimicrobial function and long–term cushioning. The ultra–breathable material wont break down or lose cushioning over time, keeping your footwear comfortable and supportive.
